Who is Em?
Hello there, I am EM.
The creator and visionary behind EMpressions is Emese Mérey, EM for short.
EM is a Hungarian multidisciplinary artist residing in Glasgow, UK.
EM creates from her strong faith in Jesus Christ and that saturates her art.
She combines her skills in watercolor, ink, color pencil and calligraphy / brush lettering with the benefit of the new technologies such as AI and digital tools like digital painting and animation, to create one of a kind art pieces which can serve as reminders, affirmations, thought provoking objects of art.
Punctuated by minimalistic symbolism and impactful words EM’s creations carry a mission which is to help believers, churches and Christian organisations to stay focused on God and his love for us and to reach nonbelievers to show that there is a hope in every season which is reliable and consistent.
EM’s creative output does not stop at visual arts only. She is a writer, a podcaster and a photographer also.
